A beribboned vase, featuring a merry mix of holiday patterns and textures, imparts customized pizzazz.
Designers of all types, from home interior to fashion, have been creating intrigue with color-coordinated layers of pattern and texture. The look, which is unconventional yet sophisticated and suggests a value-added handmade quality, is much in demand these days.
So for the holidays, we’ve applied that strategy to floral design, starting with the simple vessel, to which we added seasonal sparkle with a range of holiday ribbons, both sheer and opaque, in a variety of patterns. The colors, patterns and fabrics are unified by the festively funky fringe ribbon that is layered atop the others. A stretchy and sparkly ribbon alternative replaces the traditional bow and completes the transition from the resplendent mixed arrangement to its joyous container. sfr
