A Galax-leaf covering adds autumn splendor to a basic clay pot.

     The colors and textures of the season are celebrated in this captivating composition of autumn-hued botanicals. Adhered upside down to a clay pot with their stems still intact, Galax leaves enhance the pot’s surface with seasonally appropriate texture and color.

Spray the backsides of Galax leaves with adhesive, and press the leaves, stems pointing upward, around the rim of a clay pot. Working toward the base, continue to cover the pot with leaves. Remove the stems from the Galax leaves that will be positioned in the lower third of the pot.
