At the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WF&FSA) Floral Distribution Conference Oct. 23-25, five WF&FSA members were elected to various offices.

Tom Figueroa, AIFD, MCF, vice president and branch manager of Nordlie, Inc. in Warren, Mich., was elected president of WF&FSA. Tom served as WF&FSA’s vice president leading up to his presidency and has devoted many years to its board of directors and committees.
Joining him is Alan Tanouye, general manager of Floralife in Walterboro, S.C., a division of Smithers-Oasis Company, as vice president.
In addition, three new board members were elected:  
Tim Dewey, vice president of procurement and web sales of Delaware Valley Floral Group in Sewell, N.J.
Tom Logue, vice president of Pennock Floral in Edgemont, Pa.
Rob Shibata, president of Mt. Eden Floral Company in San Jose, Calif.
JimWanko, former WF&FSA executive vice president, was awarded the Leland T. Kintzele (LTK) Distinguished Service Award in honor of his devotion and contributions to the wholesale florist industry. The LTK Award is WF&FSA’s highest honor, given annually at the Floral Distribution Conference.
